Democrats are going to flip the House easily. They will gain in the Senate, although it's early to call a flip there. All the "what makes you think we're ever going to have another election?" people will be disappointed.
Enten: "Trump's net approval rating is at -15 -- the lowest it has been during his entire second term... the Democratic lead on the generic ballot has widened. Trump's political position has worsened. I don't think how you can look at both and conclude anything other than that Dems won the shutdown"

They have much larger concerns than whether he says nice things about their news divisions. CBS had to get the merger approved. Disney has many irons in the fire. And of course for Bezos the Post is a minor holding and was an irritant in his relations with Trump. You know this.

But to your point, there's no level of sycophancy that would result in Trump deeming them fair. There have been several times over the years where he's raged against Fox News, even.

Maybe ABC, CBS, and WaPo like being denounced by the White House, at least a little, because they can use that to say they’re not biased in Trump’s favor despite all the objective evidence that they are. Good point.
I think they probably welcome it. They're all hopelessly biased in Trump's favor but having the WH call them out as somehow being "anti-Trump" is brand management for them

The White House’s new anti-media website includes denunciations of:

-ABC, which bribed the president
-CBS, which bribed the president and moved away from fact-based journalism trying to appeal to him and his fans
-WaPo, which spiked a Harris endorsement and tilts coverage in Trump’s favor

Fools.

I want to stress here for journalists covering Kennedy and his goons that this war on public health is driven by big money.

The wellness industry is a massive, massive grift.
Mr. Kennedy said it’s an individual choice as to whether or not to vaccinate.

Then he and his minions started taking that choice away by making FDA approval of some vaccines impossible.

So what's the problem? Well, because they had not been tracked before. That meant that the number of students exploded, because they hadn't been counted. That made people think there was an epidemic of autism, when really it was just a policy success.

That was a good thing as a whole! Autism didn't receive a separate diagnosis from schizophrenia in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) until 1980! That, IDEA and its cousin law, the Americans with Disabilities Act opened new opportunities

What did this do? It required #ActuallyAutistic students to be included in the law's "Child Count" provision, which requires schools report the number of students with disabilities they serve. That gave the government data about autistic students in America.
