This is the central essence of Zionism. You can easily see it in play in every marginalized group as well. Without it, white supremacy would actually have much, much less power.

This is correct. My take is you don’t have to be white to be a white supremacist.

You just have to accept white supremacy or the supremacy of white Christian men.

If you do you’ll get a place in the racial hierarchy w the promise of dominating those below you.

But you can never be on top.

I think for Vivek the combination of skin color/ethnicity/religion *and* the fact that he wants to be in an executive leadership position rather than a content creator or even a legislator is a bridge too far for a lot of these bigots.

In Broadview, IL this morning outside the Chicago area ICE detention center—

Just rolled up, immediately saw ISP/CCSO arresting a protester w/ a guitar (he appears to be in good spirits over it).

ICE vehicles have been coming and going, including a large bus driven by a masked agent seen earlier.

A telling analysis. It even further overrates the governors as he doesn't look at practical steps taken or not to combat fascism by states.

JB's all talk. He ripped healthcare from 50k immigrants this year. He cut housing $ & hasn't supported decriminalizing homelessness. That ain't resistance.

While this is going on here, ICE has been spotted on foot + in vehicles across SW + NW sides of Chicago. Can't verify reports rn, but also presuming suburbs. Yesterday was brutal. It's not lost on us they have more agents free for weekend kidnappings now with their facility secured by state police.

Trump deserves no credit for this ceasefire - even in a backhanded way. He could have stopped the war this entire past year. If you have to thank someone - and there is little to be thankful for given the ruins of Gaza - please thank the global protest movement.

Can you put into words what that purpose is? You and the frog have really become icons of this protest.

There’s been a nice overall whimsy that has shown up. The frog is amazing. We had a bunch of other inflatable people here last night, too. I saw people playing Twister the other day.

What they rely on is fear. So by coming out in an absurdist manner, it speaks to them, to some extent, that we’re actually not that afraid.

It also dismantles their narrative a little bit. When they try to describe this situation as “war-torn,” it becomes much harder to take them seriously when they have to post a video saying [U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security] Kristi Noem is up on the balcony staring over the Antifa Army and it’s, like, eight journalists and five protesters and one of them is in a chicken suit.
