For a portion of the book, Spencer is keeping Wren a secret from his aunts, which causes conflict and imbalance. Once his aunts are in on the secret and get to met Wren, Spencer's bond with his family and with Wren strengthens.

Sparrow and Lark are frequent go tos.

I can't believe I forgot about Reggie! Reggie has a symbol on his crown that is ancient fain rune meaning Regis or King, so Spencer calls him Reggie. They don't know what his actual name is! And Wren often calls him Reg, instead of Reggie.

I still haven't decided if I will reveal Wren's birth name at any point in the books, because for her, Wren is her true name now.

Spencer's cousin and some friends call him Spence for short, but otherwise he doesn't really have any alternate names.

After trekking through the wild fens for several weeks, they are sheltering from a rainstorm in a haunted tower that belongs to some ancient ghosts. They are wearing the clothes the ghosts have on hand so that they can wash and dry their grubby gear.

I love everything about this, but my very favorite part is the way the yellow pops against the blue and way that's picked up in the background with the subtle fade from gold to blue like the sun is setting or rising.
