Creativity does come to me when I feel crappy, it’s a good outlet especially when I feel like the world is too much.
My best advice, take some time for yourself rather than creativity, and come back to it when you have that flash of inspiration.
This does vary for everyone, do whatever works for you

I do think burnout is part to play, especially when it comes down to original ideas.

Sometimes I take a break, and just do anything other than that, it’s also why I take a long time to paint miniatures if I am not feeling it I am not going to slog through it, and ruin it for myself.

To be honest, I feel this statement.

I like to write, mostly about characters from media, giving my own opinions and perspectives on them while using the baseline lore and literature as the foundations.

There are days where my mind can’t think of anything or even get a fee for it.

If it takes a load off, could always create of pool of (voluntary) people who’ll take turns, each Friday (could do it as a four week rotation).

It’s definitely appreciated by the community, especially those of us whose painting schedule is iffy at best.

But also take care of yourself ngl.
