In 2022, we supported Nida Allam in her first race for Congress. She lost by a thin margin to a candidate backed by AIPAC.

Now it's Nida's time.

We know she'll fight for working people in Congress because that's what she's always done. In DC, she'll fight for:

-affordable housing
-guaranteed healthcare
-paid family leave and childcare
-lower costs for working families

That's the kind of leader who should be in office.

A long-time organizer in her community, Nida Allam first ran for public office in 2020 on the Durham County Board of Commissioners. There, she:

-raised the minimum wage for county employees
-helped to secure property tax relief for low-income Durham residents

But first: unlike her opponent, an incumbent who has been bankrolled by AIPAC, special interests, and a crypto billionaire —

Nida relies on grassroots support.

The first 24 hours are crucial for momentum. Split a donation between WFP and Nida's campaign: secure.actblue.com/donate/socia...

The WFP sweep in Jersey City and Zohran’s victory aren’t the end of the story. They’re the beginning of a new chapter.

The far right is organizing everywhere. But so are we. And now, we’ve got yet another victory under our belt to carry into the fights ahead.

Here's what these wins show...

1) A progressive governing majority isn't just a dream. It’s achievable.

2) Running boldly works. We talked about housing, immigrant justice, worker power...and voters responded.

3) People power beats big money. We organized hard and won.

With WFP support, James Solomon won the runoff for Mayor of Jersey City.

And he’ll be joined by WFP champions Denise Ridley, Tom Zuppa, Joel Brooks, Jake Ephros, Eleana Little, and Frank Gilmore on Jersey City’s city council.

These results matter far beyond one city...
