Dinner at Phantom Ranch with @drjudymelinek.bsky.social, bottom of the #GrandCanyon, after a two-day hike in. All supplies arrive by mule, apparently. Highlight was the big steaming bowl of Hiker Stew. We reckoned they fashioned it out of hikers who couldn't make it back out, & we didn't even care.

Check carefully—sometimes they're a wee overripe—but I like the fact that they're small; no need to half-a-cado & find a sad browning other half in the fridge later.
