I gave the orders, watched it live from the sit room, even offered a toast after the big boom, but definitely didn't wait for the smoke to clear to see that there were survivors and was absolutely unaware that they continued to bomb (call in gunships??) repeatedly (NPR reports 4-5 strikes) afterward

Haugueseth gave no further orders AFTER the initial order to kill everyone, EVEN AS HE WATCHED LIVE while several (first time we've heard 'several') subsequent strikes targeted the survivors. Nope, no reason for war crime prosecution there at all.
