Voor wie tachtig jaar onderwijs en herdenkingen onvoldoende waarschuwing is geweest zendt de VS nu live uit hoe een machtsgreep door extreemrechts er aan toe gaat. Alles komt langs: de sterke leider, knokploegen, de ander als zondebok, de criminalisering van links, het laffe midden, enz.

Vóór ‘remigratie’ zijn veronderstelt een complete dehumanisering van migranten en hun nakomelingen: het is de ontkenning dat zij net als gewone mensen een emotionele binding hebben met hun leefomgeving en de aanname dat zij als grofvuil gewoon ergens anders gedumpt kunnen worden.
Hart van Nederland ziet de jacht op migranten in de VS en dacht: goh, willen Nederlanders ook zoiets leuk hier.
