I’m not even trying to be a hater, phones are just one of those things that are more entertaining in real life than they are in fiction.

I took a creative writing class in college and the professor wanted us to work in vaguely modern settings. Even in 2010 literally half of everyone’s critiques were “why didn’t they just send a text message?” “A phone call could have solved this.”

Out benevolent overlords at the email factory are giving us FIVE DAYS OFF for Christmas and that first day back will probably kill me. I’ll get too used to the unwind, I won’t be able to handle the grind.

I have a good irl friend who I generally think is a creative and smart guy. Playing in his campaign was terrible.

Yeah, I am a dark lipstick enjoyer but even I’ll admit they aren’t always a good choice. If the rest of the bridal party was doing a dark lip that might be different, but otherwise… you don’t want to stand out TOO MUCH yknow?

Definitely put something on your lips too! It doesn’t need to be anything crazy but they will look really odd in photos if you have products on the rest of your face and naked lips.
Priming/setting everything is also a good idea; being in a wedding party is A Lot and you’ll want that lasting power.

Generally speaking I think people are going to be chill. But I have had a movie spoiled for me literally 30 seconds after I asked someone to not talk about it because I hadn’t seen it yet so like. Lesson learned. Trust no one.
