Aye. I think that was the biggest surprise of LLMs - post training can make them into any character.

Books where people had conversations about all sorts of topics or that got really metaphysical? It’s like an improv game - and the bots always say yes, even to an odd concept.

Text-based LLMs were trained on human speech and writing patterns. That means the interface looks like giving it human speech and writing and the output looks like human speech and writing. But none of this means there is any actual thinking happening. That seems to be hard for people to remember.

Seems like a straight forward way to demonstrate you can prompt an LLM?

Probably an older set of people who buy into this plan compared to self-only, meaning higher average health expenses? not sure why the handle the costs this way.

Collapse implies a binary status (uncollapsed or collapsed) - its not just what's felt that's on a gradient - there's no one universal status. But yes, we may not be talking about the same thing.

The recipients likely have as much or more forever chemicals already, so to me its replacing like with like - I still giving is still altruistic.

It's more like a side benefit from generating more blood in your own body.

By that logic there are places in the world that have never built, and ruins abounded a few generations ago. It's not a binary.

I don't think the SUV boom of the 90s was marketing driven. Companies did not expect or model so much demand for those vehicles.

Likewise for me was my hometown team winning a track meet we didn't expect to take by a single point. The bus ride home where everyone knew that their individual result helped secure the win was just the most amazing vibe and I know someone else's sports won't achieve that for me - and that's ok.
