In the US, how many of these measures to discourage car use are available to cities? Where does the answer point bike advocates’ efforts? Seems like a lot of advocacy is local, but the focus should be on the state and federal levels. Not that that makes getting results any easier!

I’m excited to try this out. I follow a pretty wide variety of people & topics. It’s great, but it’s also a huge time suck, as well as an invitation to addiction. This looks like it might be a great tool for helping me manage the flood. Here’s hoping!

I know that road, and it's totally crazy to ride a bike in the sharrow and think you're safe. (A few people do, but they are way bigger risk-takers than me.) Cars move *fast* on it.
