Would be a good time for the news media to get ahead of things and jump right to the “what we did wrong,” part of how this story has been presented.

Hi @michaellegge.bsky.social , just got the sad news that your Swansea gig in May has been cancelled. Any sign of another date here in the future. I was thrilled you were visiting.

I understand the sentiment behind dry January, but if you don't want to commit to this, I've an alternative.
Pub January, where you stop in at your local hostelry, have a drink and support a sector that is in danger of shrinking into obscurity, and with it a large of part of our heritage.

RIP Ryan O'Neil, a wonderful actor. Barry Lyndon, A Bridge Too Far, The Thief Who Came To Dinner, Driver & with Peter Bogdanovich...Nickelodeon, Paper Moon with daughter Tatum and my favourite (I'm a suckered for slapstick), his role as the hapless Howard Bannister in What's Up Doc? A great legacy.
