I’m just this guy, you know? Pro-democracy, pro-peace, pro-people. 2 wheels > 4 wheels.
But you don't impaled by huge splinters from them!

I suppose you'll be swearing off the use of turn signals now. 😀
January 6, 2026 at 7:18 PM
That's it! I'm canceling my The Race Members Club membership, because we're obviously paying you too much. 😀
January 6, 2026 at 7:16 PM
Seems spot-on, Dave, except I guarantee you I won't say to myself, "well I wasn't expect that". 😉. Mostly because I generally only make typos and inadvertent elisions when addressing others.

It's not at all clear whether Trump or the people around him have any coherent thoughts at all.
January 5, 2026 at 4:57 PM
Just incredible. So many on the right are just fine with breaking laws if the result is an end they approve of.
January 5, 2026 at 4:25 PM
Yeah, there's an invisible asterisk there, "* if you want to keep all of those followers".
January 4, 2026 at 5:44 PM
That was fantastic!
January 4, 2026 at 5:43 PM
D'oh! I guess my head was stuck on my pre-RHD understanding of those letters to mean Right-Hand Drive, referring to cars, which made no sense in this context.

Agree, much will change will the elimination of RHDs.
January 4, 2026 at 5:34 PM
And the Trump admin makes the Bush admin, who failed at planning for regime change in Iraq, look like absolute geniuses.
January 4, 2026 at 3:18 AM
Thanks for this, Dave! This was exactly the sort of thing I needed to distract me from the day's news.
January 4, 2026 at 2:16 AM
What's the RHD money pit?
January 4, 2026 at 2:15 AM
Most of his followers don't recognize PR as being part of the US, nor Puerto Ricans as US citizens.
January 3, 2026 at 10:12 PM
The US, sadly, does not recognize the International Criminal Court. And that's not new with Trump.
January 3, 2026 at 10:10 PM
Apparently his stated plan for the US to not be the world's policeman was for the world to have no policemen.
January 3, 2026 at 6:27 PM
And laws are only for using against other people. This from AP:

It's literally the destruction of America and everything it has ever stood for (no matter how poorly at times). A triumph of ignorance over expertise, shallowness over seriousness, propaganda over truth, and authoritarianism over the rule of law.
January 3, 2026 at 6:19 PM
Every country except, now, the US, recognizes that we have to stop burning oil to have any chance of having a livable climate. China is building millions of electric cars and huge wind and solar farms. World oil consumption will certainly decline. 2/2
January 3, 2026 at 6:11 PM
But it'll be years, at best, before any of the oil companies find it worthwhile to go in there. The existing oil infrastructure is crumbling, the grid can't supply reliable power, and the economy is a shambles. Is it really worth the risk? 1/2

To boost his numbers by distracting people from the Epstein files.
January 3, 2026 at 6:05 PM
It's very bad. And here we are, still loving an oil-combustion powered sport.

Oil needs to be over, except as a lubricant, but the oil companies will fight that until their balance sheets go negative.
January 3, 2026 at 6:04 PM
The catch in that poll is that a majority of Republicans still approve, and those are the only people that matter to Trump and to a lot of R politicians, who still control both Houses of Congress.

My take is that this is one hell of a distraction from the Epstein files.
January 3, 2026 at 6:00 PM
And now I’ve just finished a crossword puzzle that had takt as an answer! Apparently “takt time” is a term used in lean manufacturing.
January 2, 2026 at 10:59 PM
Just another thing Ernst Degner stole from MZ, I'd bet.
January 2, 2026 at 9:53 PM
Silly question I'm sure you'll know the answer to, and it's more fun to ask you than Google: why is 2-stroke abbreviated to 2T? What language did the T come from?
