Scotland is rich in folklore, where even our trees are part of myths and legends! 🌳

The rowan tree was often planted at doorways as protection against enchantments. Ancient Druids considered it sacred, using its wood and berries for rituals and ceremonies. ✨

Time to coorie in & think about #CleanEngergy! 🏠

Heat pumps can tackle #ClimateChange, which helps nature too - but upfront costs are a barrier.

We’re raising awareness of grants & calling for more support. 💚

It's baltic out there! ❄️

Looking to help wildlife this season? Resist tidying away fallen leaves, seed heads and berries. They provide food and shelter for many species, including our feathered friends! 🍂🐦‍⬛

Renewables have overtaken coal as the world’s #1 electricity source! 🔋

Solar and wind met all new demand in early 2025 – and cut fossil fuel use. But climate impacts continue.

#COP30 must phase out fossil fuels, scale up renewables and protect nature. 🍃

Seal pupping season is kicking off! 🦭

If you’re near the coast at this time of year, make sure to keep your distance - stay at least 100m back and keep dogs on short leads. A camera zoom or binoculars give the best close-up! 📷

Our planet is melting before our eyes. 2024 was the hottest year on record - the first to exceed 1.5°C of warming. We face tipping points, but it’s not too late. 🌎

Across all sectors, we already have the tools to create a cleaner, safer future.

Clocks have changed, temps are dropping & homes are feeling chillier! ❄️

A warm home shouldn’t be a luxury, but the way we heat them just now is costly on our pockets & on the planet. In this video, Kristin & Huw share how they made their home greener & warmer. 🏡

46,000 oysters now in the Firth of Forth! 🎉

Well done to the volunteers & Restoration Forth partners who have been busy cleaning & reintroducing another 6,000 oysters - bringing the total to an incredible 46,000.

We hope they go “Forth” & flourish! 🦪
