Such mapping needs to be broadcast far & wide, bringing some much needed reality to Dutton’s nuclear fantasies.
Dutton applies hysteria to any issue - terrorism, African gangs, tough cop on the beat-up.
Time to expose him
Almost 200,000 Australians would be at risk of a nuclear accident if Peter Dutton’s proposed nuclear scheme goes ahead, according 'Don’t Nuke the Climate'.

The seven sites on this map have been selected by the federal Coalition to house multiple nuclear power reactors.

I caught some kind of Talitridae amphipod. I wish I knew what it was, but the official state reference collection of these guys is degraded into brown slude due to decades of neglect! Just another day in Unpopular Bugs

I love how Trump, Vance and Musk style themselves defenders of free speech, while simultaneously banning government agencies from mentioning climate change or diversity (inc biodiversity!), equity and inclusion, or even possessing maps which show the Gulf of Mexico.
Torquemadas the lot of them.

So what is the LNP plan to cope with population increases in Melbourne? Just continue extending suburbs until they reach Mallacoota?

It has been more than 80 days since Telstra and Optus flicked the switch on the 3G mobile network. Hundreds of regional and remote Australians say they can no longer rely on the network and struggle to make calls.

While you're at it, mate, get onto Telstra & get into 'em about this bloody mess they've made when they cocked up the 3G shutdown

Significant sections of regional areas now with 5/8ths of bugger all coverage

It's gotta be fixed. It's dangerous & increases the disadvantage of regional Aussies

The Grampians National Park is an important area for biodiversity. And it is burning.

Many species have been impacted, but some species have had their whole know range burnt. The Grampians Assassin Spider, Zephyrarchaea grayi is one of these.

Extinct? Possibly.

Dutton today on Jews in Australia: "I’ve never seen an element of society ostracised in such a way"

Yeah, that's why they have a much lower life expectancy, earn 25% less than everyone else, and are 17 times more likely to be incarcerated...

Oh wait, no that's another group.. can't think who.

Did you know that there's a statue of a sofa-sized tardigrade outside the building where the Bohart Insect Museum is at the University of California, Davis? Well now you do. #invertebrates

While mothing for a long-term biodiversity study, the Say's Mantidflies also arrive during the survey. Relatives of lacewings, Mantidfly larvae are parasites of wolf spider eggs.

Beach textures.

If you dig around in piles of washed up kelp, you'll find a treasury of invertebrates (and pick up a scent that will cling to you all day)
