I’ve seen a lot of people lashing out at Ridley Scott for his ragebait interview. a) he’s an old geezer; give him a break b) his bad films are more interesting than most good films c) his good films have imprinted cinema significantly d) Gladiator II was gash but the Last Duel… come on.

The visiting MP and the TV crew (who lay down tracks for a dolly shot!?) were convenient targets and Steve’s backstory felt like an add on. Interesting that they changed the title from Shy to Steve as well.
