I would never vote for Curtis Sliwa in a million years, but if I ran into him I know we'd at least speak much of the same language - he's the kind of New York nut you learn to manage, & as long as they don't have power prefer over yet another suit from god knows where

Favourite directors to work with - those who aren’t threatened by the fact I’m one too, & who talk to me like a director because directing is lonely & it’s nice to explore different routes to the same place. I don’t tell them what to do, but I sometimes tell them what not to do.
