Add (1) automatic voter registration at age 18; (2) same day voter registration at the polls; (3) 40 days of accessible early voting; (4) polling stations, rather than precincts and one polling station for every 5,000 people; (5) shift burden of proof to state on provisional ballots and challenges.

That’s the CheyNess Monster, rarely seen because of . . . shyness.

That’s a good exhibit for why a fully staffed and funded NWS office *might* be helpful for people traveling I-25 in Platte County about now.

It’s after Labor Day, so Halloween photos are allowed now. Just don’t commingle them with reindeer swirling in a Santa-nado. Nope.

They seem to be demonstrating convincingly that gaining an understanding of science from comic books isn’t a substitute for education.

Wouldn’t they have to be fans of Steely Dan music to be attracted to something like that?

Thank you!

I’d hate to be on 1-80 right now and not have a heads up about this one.

It’s reassuring to know that tornadoes, floods, wildfires, blizzards, derechos, hail, freezing rain, and fog in SE Wyoming and Western Nebraska can now be scheduled to occur only during business hours. It’s such a calm area where weather is always gentle and highways are always safe.

It’s not just the ethical issues. It’s also a national security issue with the potential for listening and tracking devices and more. It’s also the “gift” if he leaves office and whether a private citizen should have access to defensively armed personal aircraft.
