Thirty-five years ago today, George H.W. Bush signed the Americans with Disabilities Act into law. The ADA has been tremendously important for disabled Americans. It's been a beacon for folks around the world. But it's always been too limited, and the gains it's achieved are under intense threat.

Ronald Reagan was a strong conservative. There is zero chance that he would have defended Putin or opposed Ukraine’s desire to defend itself from Russian aggression. Russia is still the evil empire. Trump’s Quisling-esque treachery will turn the United States into North America’s Belarus.

At the present pace, the US will be down to four federal agencies by summer. Then we will all experience firsthand the Ministry of Love, the Ministry of Peace, the Ministry of Plenty, and the Ministry of Truth.
