If the New York Times was waiting for a news hook to write a long-overdue story about how Trump is mentally unfit to be president, Trump has provided one today with his post saying Rob Reiner got murdered because he was mean to Trump.
Write it, NYT. End the normalization. @nytimes.com

“The worst outbreaks of measles and whooping cough (or pertussis) in many years are festering around the country, and not only is the federal government AWOL, but Kennedy is expending great effort to make these outbreaks worse, and add more diseases.”
measles and whooping cough are running riot around the country, and RFK has stacked the CDC and the national vaccine oversight panel with anti-vaccine conspiracy theorists: prospect.org/2025/12/15/k...

The ACA isn't just "health care for people who don't have a conventional employer." It also disallows something that was incredibly common 20 years ago, which I fear is getting lost to generational memory: insurance companies could deny you health care for essentially any previous health problem.
I'm dubious about Amazon's commitment to keeping pre-existing conditions a thing of the past.

Mifepristone is safe, the well-funded effort to persuade people otherwise is as antithetical to the factual record as “climate change is a hoax” — and if Brennan feels willing or obliged to bend the knee to her new corporate management, this seems like a telling sign of that.
really weird -- Margaret Brennen presses Bill Cassidy on why the White House isn't doing more to crack down on mifepristone and what he's doing to encourage them to do it

Any GC will prioritize certain types of charges and Congress has provided that some allegations have a higher priority (§§ 10(l), (m)). But charges are up in part because GC Abruzzo had aggressive theories of how to use the law which people used to revitalize a dead statute. That is a good thing!
