Met a Canadian Pastor in a Zoom meeting who said, “Someone from my church just quoted your book this Sunday. We’re doing a book club to study it together.”

When people around you venerate bullies as saints, we have two choices:

1. Be incredibly disillusioned and completely fall apart.

OR

2. Be thankful for the clarity (jarring as it is) and move on to doing the next right thing.

I’ve chosen the latter and it’s been liberating.

Just finished Justice of Jesus by @joashpthomas.bsky.social. If you haven’t yet, preorder the book. He shines light on the way western Xians have aligned with empire, exploiting those in colonized territories, but then he gives practical advice on how to move forward. All Xans should read this!
