I recommend using the magic circle technique to knit small circumference items with your circs! You have to wrap your head around it, but it’s totally doable and saves you from having to switch tools at the end!

Update. I’m so mad. About 90% completed, I put it down to work on another project. When I picked it up, arrogantly decided I didn’t need to review the stitch pattern. Fml. English rib, like brioche is so difficult to tink back—and so now my edge is all messed up and just can’t bring myself to frog

It’s my first shawl, so getting my first real reality check.

Honestly. Brilliant.

Thanks! It’s so easy to second guess your choices especially when you can’t see the whole thing together yet

Thank you! I, too, look forward to that… but it might be a while!

Is there a way to edit / add alt text after posting something on Bluesky? I forgot to add alt text to my image and I can figure out how to fix it…

Wait I don’t understand! Is there a name for this stitch so I can look it up?

Thanks for the rec!

Beautiful! Is this pattern on ravelry?

I find that knitting a bit looser than I usually do helps. Make sure your floats are long and loose! Blocking also helps a lot.

This is a really helpful hack! Thanks!

Very pretty! It’s got a classic look.

That’s what I was going to say!

Thank you! I had to frog my first three attempts. Granted I was knitting in the semi dark with darker yarn, but getting it finally right felt great!

Go for it! Start with something simple like a scarf or hat. It’s been very soothing for me.

Thanks! It’s funny how something simple can be so soothing and wonderful.

It’s quite satisfying to knit up!

It’s not a twisted rib! It is something like brioche I think! It’s is super squishy and thick.
