Every day that I read about the impact of the US Healthcare system, I'm grateful for the amazing NHS who have saved mine and my children's lives on more than one occasion, without making me bankrupt.

I'm at the hairdresser and a lady with a camera came up and asked if I'd like before and after pics. I started to say something along the lines of "I'd rather run out in front of traffic" but managed "I'd rather....* dramatic pause* ... not."
