Hm.
Another major site that thinks my email address is invalid.
I use a completely valid set of characters, but some site validators don't allow where I've placed one of them, even though (as near as I can tell) it's valid in the spec.
I've been receiving mail there for a decade+, of course.

Having dinner at my brother's house; homemade pasta and meat sauce! For dessert, my mom brought some interesting cupcakes....

There's a joke in the book The World's Best Humorous Anecdotes archive.org/details/worl... that seems relevant these days (incidentally I actually have a physical copy of this book)

I've been debating about running my own cloud setup.
At least partially to run my own PDS, but also just generally to move myself off of the big cloud services.

This is of course not trivial, but is something I have the ability to do.

Man, now I'm feeling a little cheated.
The official soundtrack for Star Wars Episode III (that I bought two decades ago ...) doesn't have the full fade out at the end of the initial fanfare, and even skips over the drums heard when the destroyer enters the shot.

Still like the music, though.

Seeing some complaints about DST, as expected.
Frankly, the whole concept is what's sometimes referred to as a "global solution to a local problem" in programming circles (global here referring to some larger unnecessarily expanded scope, not the world itself).

Got a small Lego WALL-E as a gift at a work Christmas party. Finally managed to design and print a clip to go on my cubicle wall.

Just finished Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. Lots of fun, especially punching Nazis.

I have to say, though, especially with the focus on language I was expecting a completely different final set piece.

@kenwhite.bsky.social - I've had a bit of a question for a while;

Musk is (apparently) now a government employee. To what extent would that cause him problems with content moderation concerns on ex/twitter, since he owns it?
For that matter, Trump has at least some stake in one as well...

Making stir fry for bun filling.

My dough didn't really rise, though, so they're going to be flatbread buns....
