The issue with the cuts isn’t the headcount, it’s how they excised entire segments of government. They are redistributing the headcount and bloating as they see fit.

I think that’s where the changed media landscape comes in. With reduced local media, overall corporate capture of mainstream national media and the increased reliance on paywalls, it’s not as easily visible. Where it is visible, it treated as location specific or pushed aside for the next story.

His campaign released the video because the Nazi tattoo that he has had on his chest for decades came up in oppo research. His campaign is also doing a bad job explaining it. The establishment doesn’t have to do that much at this point.
