Playing more FF9. I love how aside from Dagger, Steiner just generally dislikes everyone in the party EXCEPT Vivi. Because you're a fucking monster if you hate Vivi XD

See, I know that song as Kirby’s theme from Kirby’s Dream Land on Gameboy, so I was just gonna write “Kirby’s Theme” but Scott then pointed out he knows Kirby’s theme to be a different song. So I had to specify, but I’m too wordy for Bsky’s character limit 😭

So @thekindlyones.bsky.social and I just realized Not Alone from FF9 starts the same way as Kirby’s theme from Super Smash Bros

Then I had to listen to Not Alone cause Kirby was now stuck in my head

Then Scott started playing Kirby’s theme on full blast while I tried to, because he’s a jerk 😂

But seriously, I adored this game. I'm honestly thinking I might start streaming all the (numbered) Final Fantasy games, starting with FF1.

Its obvious that Squeenix is gearing up to make a remake of 9. All I ask is that they don't change the core storyline of this game. I don't want this to be FF7R.

What I DO want is for them to expand on some subplots, and give us more of a feel of the world.

And change the gameplay entirely lmao

The gameplay is horrendous. I would not have enjoyed this game as much if it weren't for the memoria mod I found. It makes it much more playable.

I loved the characters, I loved the story, I just wish that we got a bit more world building. I don't need a ton, just a little more. There were a few plot points (Freya and Sir Fratley, Vivi's grandfather, etc) that I felt like should have had more to it.
