Thank you, Doctor. This is where we are.
The state of Tennessee just passed a law to allow healthcare providers to discriminate if it goes against their religious beliefs.
Do no harm should apply to everyone.
Perhaps find a different religion or occupation if you can’t separate your beliefs from saving a life.

Imagine if some dummy had decimated the U.S. Forest Service and U.S. Geological Survey workforce right before Mt. St. Helens erupted (Mt. St. Helens is an active stratovolcano along the Cascade Range within the Gifford Pinchot National Forest in Washington; it disastrously erupted May 18, 1980).

The question today is the same as it was during the first Gilded Age: Will we fight for an economy and a democracy that works for all rather than a wealthy few?
From Robber Barons to Bezos: Is History Repeating Itself? | Robert Reich
We’re now in the Second Gilded Age. As in the first, America’s wealth is in the hands of a few, conspicuous consumption exists alongside homelessness and hunger, monopolies crush competition, money corrupts politics, and working people are abused and exploited. The good news? Just like back then, we can fix it.
