Mission Accomplished. Some minor issues with used eBay parts, but got it sorted. Being used to the Cutthroat, this thing feels very twitchy.

I learned this is a FSA cartridge bearing... and it isn't supposed to be in pieces or look like that.

I found a set of Force 1 shift levers on eBay that came with a derailleur and flat-mount calipers. I'm a little nervous about these post-to-flat mount adapters I found.

But as my daughter told me once: "Brakes? Who needs brakes? Stopping is overrated."

Mine was a solo bikepacking trip through Big Bend National Park. I'd dreamed of it for years and finally just did it. It was hot, dry, and much harder than I expected. In other words, amazing.

I hope at a 4-way stop it will flash its lights to indicate 'you go first' instead of sitting behind its tinted windows assuming the cyclist can see it waving its non-existent hand.
