My warrior cats hot take is that I always thought fireheart & co using riverclan as a shortcut after bringing windclan home was really ridiculous & OOC. it just doesn't make sense to me for fireheart to take such a casual risk after feeling the need to hide from a riverclan patrol a day earlier

If anything I think the graphic novels (or at least for TPB) should've been 4 books each adapting 1 1/2 books rather than 3 books each adapting 2 books. that would've solved the pacing issue, allow the authors more breathing room, and make it so that they don't have to skip over so many things

I love lionheart but the way he stands up for firepaw every time tigerclaw is mean to him yet doesn't give ravenpaw the same treatment when tigerclaw is even more cruel to him just irks me ngl

My HC is that floatshimmer had kits with a cat outside the clan and graysky decided to help her raise her kits so she wouldn't have to tell anyone. they're not mates, but floatshimmer's kits still see him as their dad

Interesting lore from into the wild is that graystripe says bluestar usually only mentors the kits of deputies but that literally has never happened either with her or any other leader

Lowkey makes me mad now nobody in thunderclan did anything about tigerclaw being so cruel to ravenpaw. he's flinging insults at his own apprentice right in front of lionheart but it's the other apprentices that stand up for him

Firepaw asks why the clans can't just share prey instead of fighting all the time and neither lionheart nor tigerclaw give him an actual answer just "alliances are too much trouble" and "clan loyalty makes us strong" but nobody actually explains it to firepaw

How come nobody ever talks about rusty seeing a fox the first time he goes in the woods? he sees a bushy red tail with a white tip which is clearly a fox but then graypaw appears and the fox is just never mentioned again
