If they really wanted this battle to take place they should've had graystripe be the one to suggest going through riverclan instead of fireheart and then have fireheart argue then wind up agreeing with him. it's a small change but it keeps them in character

It's ultimately a wholly unnecessary battle that adds nothing to the plot. riverclan went from being hostile towards thunderclan to being hostile towards thunderclan. sandpaw didn't need this battle to be on better terms w/ fireheart. whiteclaw can die another way if it's so important to leopardstar

I still don't think the problems with the graphic novels are bad enough to justify all the negativity I'm seeing but 4 books would've been ideal. I do think the 3 book structure will help with most of the other arcs tho

There are things I wish the graphic novels included (whiteclaw's death, longtail saving fireheart, cinderpelt teaching littlecloud) but like. I don't think any of that deserves the visceral hate I've been seeing lately. if you don't like them that's fine but I dint think they deserved the hate

I understand criticizing the newer books due to ableism/sexism/etc but the worst thing the graphic novels do is just not be 100% accurate to the books which is like... yeah it's an adaptation that's what they do. no adaptation is 100% accurate that's not how adaptations work.

I'm re reading into the wild again which is why I'm bringing this up. I never remembered the fox tail so when I read that part I'm just like what is the point of seeing the fox why is it there
