I have been supporting and encouraging a growing authors club at my elementary school. More and more kids are writing books and sharing them with the goal of having them placed in our library. 🥲

It's incredible. Here's my favorite chapter by a 2nd grader who has found his passion in writing.

She did respond. All she had to do was apologize and then work to fix her list, but instead she is more interested in accusing anyone who points out the problems with being accusatory and blocking them. I haven't been blocked, yet.

We'll see if she says anything to me.

I made mac and cheese tonight. The store was out of orange cheddar and I used white. I know, the metaphor is right there.

Right after the bell rang today, a first grade girl named Amen came into the library and handed me this picture. I said, "Oh, it's beautiful! Who is it?" She said, "It's you," and I started crying. 🥲

My dog #JoythePlottHound thinks she is a cat. I think she's a weirdo.
