Colors of ash and stone
They stand unremembered and alone
Serving as something to scare or feed
Atop the neon of modernity

I picked up "Gay the Pray Away" by @natalienaudus.bsky.social on a whim this evening and was completely blown away. I have never seen myself or my life so represented in a book before. The very first paragraph had me in tears. Religious trauma is being written about and understood. There is hope.
