Movie you’ve watched more than six times with a gif. Hard mode: no Stars (Wars nor Trek), LOTR, or Marvel, Disney Animated or Pixar.

For reasons I feel the the need to state three things.

Freebird is >> Sweet Home Alabama

There are loads of Lynyryd Skynyrd songs that are ~>= Freebird

If you have cystitis, you can sing "Big wees keep on burning" to the tune of Sweet Home Alabama.

Conversation between two youths looking at the departures board at the station this morning.

"Yoof1: There's too many times. How do we get to Colchester"

"Yoof2: 8:24? Dunno?"

...

There were three trains on the board getting to Colchester before that.

This is an epic and important thread. Post 100 in the sequence surely needs (at least) 100 likes!

This reminds me that I once explained on Twitter to a transphobic barrister, Barbara Rich, the concept of standing being intertwined with merits and how prospects are assessed in legal aid cases, only for her to block me, lol.
100/ He adds that the Good Law Project’s support for the trans community demonstrates that it is not merely a busybody. He stresses that standing is intertwined with the merits in this case, noting the importance of holding the EHRC accountable in its discharge of statutory functions.

What happens when a minority is forced to fight for its very existence?

Here's a lesson from history that the gender crits would do well to heed.

I mean look at this cheesy sliver. The top is still concentrated cheese while the bottom is a crust made from cheese.

OMFG!

My wife just had a fondue night with friends and I was doing some clearing up.

I went to clean out the residue in the fondue pot itself and thought "before trying hot water etc. let's just hear the pot and see if the plug of stuff loosens.

It did....

First time stopping at the newly opened Beaulieu Park railway station, and a grand total of ten people got onto the train.

The only other people there apart from staff/security were a couple of train-spotters, photographing/filming the trains as they arrived.

A question that has nagged at me for over 25 years:

Why didn't I go rooting through the discarded equipment cages at work in 1999 the day after they replaced my IBM Model M keyboard with some brand-new membrane POS?
