I’m considering selling my kindle and getting a Kobo e-reader. I’m wondering if anyone from the #booksky community has done this and is willing to share their experience? Especially around buying ebooks. Have you been able to find the books you want just as easily? 📚💙

Today, I presented my first lecture with ‘D.O.’ after my name. It’s a milestone I’ve been working toward for years, and I look forward to many more in the future!

This was an interesting read. The first one I’ve seen find a link between a specific food item and a specific gut microorganism. I hope Lawson takes care of me because I surely am taking good care of them 🫡

I like to think of buying books like buying wine. Some will live untouched on the shelf longer than others and that’s just part of the process
I don’t know how to tell you this, but the point of buying books is to, at some point, read them.

If anyone is seeing “invalid handle” on their account, despite not changing anything or trying to use their own domain, try going to settings > change handle > retype your same handle after the @. This seemed to reverify it for me

New friends, sky peeps (?), fellow skeeters, if you haven’t seen a good boy today this is my dog Colton. He’s an Australian shepherd mixed with a border collie. We call him bubby/bubs or anything other than his name really. He likes long walks, fetch, and sleeping on his back.
