What’s up with this? I can only guess it’s intentional? Because they check our comic stuff down to the pixel and I mean TO THE PIXEL, so it’s baffling that they missed this.

I would guess the scandal around Paul Reubens caused the movie to be quietly buried. It definitely pulls off (no pun intended) a fairly unique mix of serious and realistic sci fi with a fun kids movie.

People like to think the past is long gone and doesn’t affect the now. It’s still right here, right now. The tiny (but important) strides we’ve made toward equality and basic decency are a minuscule blip, and possibly unique, in all of human history. Too many are foaming to stop that progress.

Rear doors barely work anyway, ac drain just clogged up (easy fix but I can’t find it) transmission slips, oil leaks and burns. It’s a piece of shit. With a granddaughter to pick up/drop off soon I’m going to have to bite the bullet and get something else anyway.
