My family fled authoritarianism to find freedom in the United States.

Now I’m fighting to protect it with millions who know that real power comes from us—the people.

Mental health is not an issue that is unique to the United States. Guns are. That’s why our kids are dying.

The Trump Administration is the most corrupt in American history. Everything that they do is suspect and everything that they do is a distraction from something else.

“Don’t be naive, it can happen here,” my mom warned me growing up. She was right — authoritarianism can take root anywhere, including the United States.

That’s why I’ll never stop fighting for a democracy that works for everyone.

Flagstaff knows the stakes: Trump’s regime is snatching people off the streets, attacking universities and the free press, ripping away health care from millions of Americans, and Eli Crane is cheering it on.

We won’t back down.

Social Security was a Democratic promise to America—and we’ll be relentless in protecting and expanding it.

Authoritarians don’t win by winning votes—they win by changing the rules. What’s happening in #Texas is a full-blown #authoritarian power grab and it’s just the beginning.

Want to win the future? We need an affordability agenda young people believe in.

Flagstaff showed up to speak out about Trump’s budget impacts, from rural hospital closures to the unprecedented ICE funding that will harm immigrants.

But their Rep, Eli Crane, didn’t.

They spoke to an empty chair—and I was honored to stand in, listen, and bring their voices back to D.C.

Every single Arizona Republican betrayed their constituents.

They gutted healthcare and education to give tax breaks to billionaires.

The road to taking back the House runs through Arizona—and we’re holding these Congressmen accountable.

We’re organizing to win.

The Trump regime is ripping health care from 17 million people while funneling billions to ICE and enriching corporate allies.

As the daughter of immigrants who fled authoritarianism, I won’t stop fighting back against the targeting of immigrant families and abuse of power.

We have to ensure that Americans know what’s in Trump’s “budget” bill. In Arizona, hundreds of thousands of people will lose health care, food assistance, and jobs.

And then we have to hold the Republicans who voted for it accountable— I’ll be doing just that this summer.

Now would be a great time to call your Reps and Senator and tell them to vote NO on the Republican reconciliation bill!

Donald Trump gutted nearly every form of independent oversight of the private corporations profiting off migrant detention.

That’s why it’s on us, as Members of Congress, to step up and demand accountability at ICE facilities.

While at the Eloy Detention Center, women shared a story with me of a guard forcing them to walk in the Arizona heat w/out water, yelling at them that “that’s the price of the American dream.”

We can and MUST advocate for the dignity and humanity of all people in facilities across the country.
