Did my first #BigButterflyCount this morning in my garden in Colchester this morning. Meadow Browns, Gatekeepers, Large Whites and also the first Brown Argus I've seen in the garden this year, plus a Lattice Heath Moth (I had to look up 😊) @savebutterflies.bsky.social @bc-cambs-essex.bsky.social

We had a lot of 6 Spot Burnet Moths in our garden last year. Think we might get even more this year! The birds-foot trefoil is full of caterpillars, and earlier noticed the first cocoon 😍🦋 #Moths #wildlife #gardens @bc-cambs-essex.bsky.social
