The Chancellor says she 'fixed' a problem caused by “some snails or something”.

Comments like this pit nature against growth – it’s the wrong target.

Here, the system has worked: protecting one of UK’s rarest species while allowing 20,000 homes to proceed.

Thanks to London’s bold action, almost 10 million people are now breathing cleaner air.

That means fewer children will grow up with stunted lungs and fewer people will have to suffer from asthma, dementia and heart disease.

Don't threaten us with a good time, Daily Express.
Image featuring a graphic from the Bradford District Green Party. The background is green with the Daily Express logo in the upper left and a photo of Zack Polanski speaking into a microphone on the right, holding a cartoon-style bundle of cash with a pound sign. Below, a mocked-up newspaper headline reads: “Zack Polanski wants to redistribute our money and turn Britain into a Left-wing haven.” At the bottom, the Green Party logo and web address Join.greenparty.org.uk are displayed.

I love Aphids 💚
These are Absinthe Aphids that I had on a Wormwood plant at a previous home.
I thought they were amazing, (and so did the Ladybirds and Blue Tits 😊)
A pale green stem, with some deeply cut leaves attached, of a Wormwood plant.
On the stem are lots of little Absinthe Aphids. They're a pale grey colour but with black blotches and spots and a spike on their bums.

Did u know? This tiny soul is one of the most significant animals on earth - it's an aphid. It's vilified by us because it sucks sap from plants, but it's a friend, not an enemy. Its large numbers feed entire generations of birds, frogs, ladybirds & other small souls - don't spray, celebrate. 🌱🌿🇬🇧🌱🪲🌍

Butterflies are often associated with the mythical Tylwyth Teg, the Welsh fairy folk. Legend tells of an enchanted island with beautiful flowers and butterflies belonging to the Tylwyth Teg, which humans could visit but were not to disturb.
Art my own.

Exciting goings-on in our garden!

2 weeks ago one Grass #Snake in the first clip had opaque blue eyes, indicating he/she was about to shed his/her skin.

Wind forward a couple of weeks... and the 2nd clip shows that newly shed skin, which I found in the same spot yesterday afternoon! #wildlife

Beautiful 😍
Let's hope it's spread its seeds far and wide 👍

I agree, it's a method that makes for surprises and they're not always ideal.
We've spent all summer having to step over some Virginia Stock that were growing in the crack in front of our front door, (and scowling at the delivery drivers putting boxes down on top of them 😂

😂
I thought this one had finished as it got battered in various storms but it's having another go 😊

A big self-seeded Borage popped up this year 💙
It's far better than any I grew myself, it's grown huge and is still flowering now 💙
I'm getting more and more convinced that direct sowing and just scattering seeds about is the way to go 😂
What would nature do?

We always knew that Labour cares about little else other than keeping private developers happy.

But here's proof showing off to JP Morgan despite destruction of some of the "rarest creatures in our country."

Let's make that description Labour votes.
