It's not clear that Maduro can be convicted of any charges. The Trump administration has a history of unprecedented incompetence when it comes to prosecutions or any other matters in court. The fact Maduro was apprehended illegally makes it even less likely.

Kim Davis is entitled to freedom of speech, as are we all. However, her use of a public office to deliberately hurt people by robbing them of fundamental rights has nothing to do with freedom of speech. She is a symbol of the evil of American radical right-wing christianity.

I watched "I Like Me" tonight. It's a wonderful movie about a wonderful person. I wanted to know more about John Candy, and I am happy to learn that he was the person I thought he was. We need more people like him, but we need to ensure they get the support they need.
