Agreed - we need nest boxes AND to urgently tackle all the other issues that are damaging habitats

I could just about cope with stupid; we've survived plenty of stupid regimes in the past. It's the combination of crass stupidity with determined intentional malevolence that is so frightening and bloody depressing.

There has been a huge increase in “wildlife photographers” but in reality these are people with no interest in animals only how many people will see their photos on social media. As a birder I constantly see photographers disturbing wildlife just to get their shot.

Having been attacked by one after accidentally trespassing I can confirm titan triggerfish can be scary - but still incredible and one of my favourite fish.
