This answers a long standing question I have had for years. Apparently, the courts do have an option for enforcing their rulings if the Marshal's Service decides to go rogue.
This is slightly encouraging.

This answers a long standing question I have had for years. Apparently, the courts do have an option for enforcing their rulings if the Marshal's Service decides to go rogue.

I really don't think it's about money or tax cuts.
My hypothesis is that it gives them incredible leverage to blackmail anyone in Congress or elsewhere in positions of power.
