At this point, serious questions have to be asked about Michael Oliver. I'll start: is he biased, corrupt or just utterly incompetent?

And if PGMOL attempt to defend that decision, they might as well declare that they're not fit for purpose.

Firing Arteta if we finish 2nd again would be silly. The most you can realistically ask of a manager at this level is to consistently put their team in a position to win silverware. Arteta is set to do it three seasons running. Keep doing that and things will break for you to win something.

NEW: The opposition helped but Arsenal's attacking performance on Saturday was encouraging, with a mixture of getting Saka isolated before supporting him in/around the box and some great combination play.
