I knew what I was walking into when I disabled the mature filters for Bluesky so I could keep track of current events and war crimes (yes, including war rape) because people suck at remembering history, but wow yea that’s a lot of NSFW.🤣

I’m as progressive as my principles permit but here’s an unpopular opinion: maybe the half-Americans who get their other half from my country should shut the hell up about replacing the “O” in our endonym with an “X” because it’s too masculine apparently.

A couple of things I feel that needs to be said now more than ever.
1. We are never going back to previous global temperatures; every year will now be “the hottest year on record”.
2. Papal excommunication does not work that way.
3. We’re fucking screwed and World War III is right in our doorstep.

All this talk about Pope Leo going to Gaza is understandable, but also very nuanced. Return to us the sovereign right to rearm our Knights (the Hospitallers and the Teutonics) and right to deploy a crusade, then we’ll talk about going to Gaza instead of just sending aid.😏

What most people don’t know is that the good lawyers who do pro bono work or stand for the little guy are almost always dead and 6 feet underground young because they’re being killed by political hitmen for hire.

Seeing a lot of praise for Marx lately. I don’t like talking politics normally, but to be fair, reading anything from an unkempt freeloading slob who leeched off his friends and hid his bastard kid away to preserve his image is…not someone I’d want pointers from on how to do politics and economics.

2. The metric system is superior, yes, even in telling weather.
3. Pope Leo cannot excommunicate anyone, let alone the US Supreme Court Justices, as that is a civic matter. No attack against dogma, no anathema.
