See all the street furniture, the extended patios? You can't have any of this placemaking if you make the street car free only 1 day a week for 8 hours. No business is going to install and dismantle these things on repeat. This was a Thursday btw

Via Rail runs on CN rail lines, which prioritize private freight over passenger traffic.

Here’s the maddening part: CN used to be a crown corporation owned by all Canadians until the federal government privatized it in the 90s for $2.5 billion.

It’s worth $88b now.

Via Rail on-time performance plunges after CN imposes new speed rules
MONTREAL - Via Rail's on-time performance hit new lows in recent months, internal documents show, a decline the Crown corporation blames largely on Canadian National Railway Co.

Human potential is within us all, and it's limitless. That same potential is a double-edged sword, insomuch that potential becomes a form of escapism. We all need relief, but be cautious of temporary comforts that toy with our time/dreams.

I just started listening to Orwell's "1984" last week, very insightful and eerily modern.
As a reporter, James Gerstenzang covered five presidents and is familiar with the conventional disputes between journalists and presidents. Trump's ban on The Associated Press isn't one of those, he writes; "it is emblematic of the broader assault by the White House on the public's right to know."

switching from a 5-hour energy shot to an organic whole food powder mix. /
never noticed an issue with the energy shots, taken 4/7 days.
made the switch because I always feel self-conscious about things that spike insulin.

These tech companies want all data and access for themselves. They do not give three sweet gotdamns about your privacy or protecting you from the police. That is how they market it to consumers so you will ride at dawn for them; meanwhile, they are eroding your freedom by buying politicians.

Found a ref, 44 days later. tbh, I lost interest/morale after a couple requests. Asking/following up is NOT beneath me, but if the relationship is estranged, it's better to err on the side of caution and avoid imposing by following up/asking again.

Buying in bulk isn’t always better! 🛒 for example, Oils like olive oil & coconut oil shouldn't be around for 4+ months , . Buy only what you intend to use & finish within 60-90 days for the best quality & flavor! 🌿 #FreshIsBest #SmartShopping #Canada

✅ Stay fresh longer—no rancid taste!
✅ Save $$ and control freshness
Grind fresh for max benefits! 💪 #HealthTips #Flaxseed
