I 100% completed GTA San Andreas as a kid and don't remember it being especially hard, but now that I'm an adult...

Those Trucking missions are HARD!! Cops spawn out of nowhere (and I'm fairly sure are scripted on certain missions), trailer falls off with ease etc. The Pain!!!

Merry Christmas to those celebrating!

My first ever Christmas Turkey went surprisingly well! Family enjoyed it and so did I, but not looking forward to tackling the dishes soon...

As I have 2 weeks off I figured I would start my Christmas game early this year, which is Metroid Dread!

I'm fairly new to the Metroid series, but it's become one of my favourite series incredibly quickly. From the hour or so I've played so far I'm happy to report that it's incredible!

Just one more day of work stands between me and 2 weeks of freedom and celebrations!

My #CrunchyrollArc for 2025. Did I watch a lot of anime? Maybe haha

I'm almost finished with the Summit War arc of One Piece and managed to binge watch practically all of Demon Slayer in a year too! Plus a load of smaller titles like Reborn As A Vending Machine. Can't wait to see what 2026 brings!

For a test, I used Microsoft Copilot to complete one of my Microsoft Azure exam renewals (non-proctored exams, open book, pretty much no rules)

The Microsoft tool only got 60% correct on a Microsoft exam. No wonder people don't use it, this shit doesn't even know the stuff it's creator does LOL
we can kill them all if we just work together and ✨believe💫

I'm desperate to play Metroid Prime 4, but I must play and complete Metroid Dread before I will let myself buy it!

Black Friday sales are live, but the best part of being a retro gamer with a huge backlog is that I don't even look anymore. I have 3 different games to play at the same time right now, and enough games to last me for at least 2 years without buying anything new

My wallet is safe!

Chapter 2 (or Segment 3 of the RPG Club) of Trails in the Sky complete!

Somehow found a reasonably priced copy of Metroid Dread in CEX last night so had to pick it up

I spent most of my formative years as a diehard Sony fan, and now that I mainly game on Nintendo Switch I'm a big Metroid fan. Should have picked these up earlier! Stupid playstation taking up my time lol

There is something intoxicating about playing a classic JRPG (currently playing the original Steam release of Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter) with a mechanical keyboard. The retro soundtrack and click-clack of the keys, something very nostalgic about it

Waiting for the price to be revealed, but it looks like Steam Machine + Nintendo Switch 2 is the way to go from 2026 in my opinion.

GTA6 with free online on Steam (along with the backlog we all have haha), plus all of my favourite Nintendo games, and likely all for less than a PS5/Xbox

Decided I will finally sit down and attempt to write the book that I've had an idea floating around in my mind for some time.
15mins and 1000+ words later, I have the basic idea of the story all created and ready to flesh out over the coming months!

I've been off all social media for a month, and it's been freeing! But sometimes you just need to shout things into the digital void, so I'm back!

Got my copy of Pokémon Legends Z-A from Pokémon Centre which sent a random plushie. I got Chikorita (the only one I didn't want haha) but figured I would pick it for my starter

It has not disappointed so far!

Weekends spent with my cousin doing the Bug Catching contest

Friday nights catching Lapras

Destroying the elite four with my lvl100 Typhlosion who had been experience farming for the party

Unown mysteries!

Honestly one of the best games in the series
25 years ago today, Pokémon Gold and Silver Versions were first released for the Game Boy in North America!

The games featured 100 new Pokémon, the new Johto region and a revisit of Kanto, all in color!

Started playing Trails in the Sky (the original version) for the REAL RPG Years club, and I'm having so much fun!

It's a series I've been interested in since I got hooked on Ys yet never had the chance to play. Now that I am playing it I'm already thinking of buying the sequels haha

I'm making a conscious effort to 1) not but as many games as the prices are now INSANE! and 2) tackle my backlog

I'm loving the end game grind of God Eater Resurrection. 300 missions in, only 200 more for the longest trophy (and hopefully platinum!) then moving back to Toukiden Kiwami! #VitaIsland

I've been learning Python recently, and it seems to be sticking with me

I had some time this morning before work and wrote over 100 lines of code too (all just practice and fun tests within the book I'm using), so feeling very happy with my progress so far 😊
