But this report may understate inflation a bit.

Here's why: Usually the BLS collects prices all through November. But the shutdown kept it closed for the first half of November.

So more prices than usual were collected in the middle of "Black Friday" sales.

We used a group called Lap of Love. They sent a vet to our house. We endorse.

Anyhow, I guess I just wanted to pass something on: this makes my eighth time going through this. It does not get any easier–if anything, it gets harder. But, so far, it's still worth it to have dogs in your life. 12/12

I ordered Lucy a little bandit hat. I texted my wife while she was out with her sister that a burglar had broken in and I was holding them at gunpoint:

One day my wife was taking Lucy for a walk around her apartment complex and Lu found an entire grilled cheese in the bushes. Side note: who throws away a grilled cheese? 8/12

My wife found out after she adopted her that Ellie was on local TV in an adoption spot. What a Star! 5/12

Here's a "screenshot" from the Houston Chronicle of a real story where I photoshopped in a picture of them and texted to my wife. Ellie on top and Lucy on bottom (Brownie in the middle). 3/12

My wife had rescued them before we were together and when they all moved in, it was obvious that Ellie and Lucy operated on their own plan (in a good way). 2/12
