i want to become a very softcore sonic adventure 2 speedrunner someday. i will never enter myself into leaderboard rankings or such, but, learning how to do all of the skips for every level is something i love to practice, even casually. i have been learning new tricks almost every time i play now.

i didn't even know gamestop had a "retro" thing going on in some stores. luckily, the one closest to us seems to be doing the event! we have got to go check it out sometime soon... but, i would like to have money for it. i hope this isn't a very limited thing.

the next thing i want to do regarding the dreamcast is most certainly buying a dreampi kit! i cannot wait to play online games someday.
however, most of all, i am so incredibly hyped for sonic adventure 2's black market & seasonal outfits. i have been DYING to spend all my rings on the chao!!!

the next thing i want to do regarding the dreamcast is most certainly buying a dreampi kit! i cannot wait to play online games someday.
however, most of all, i am so incredibly hyped for sonic adventure 2's black market & seasonal outfits. i have been DYING to spend all my rings on the chao!!!

today, we fixed up the dreamcast in the middle of the night. it was randomly restarting, which was concerning. it was taken apart, connector pins were cleaned with isopropyl, and we also gave the general psu & outer shell some tlc from the qtips we used to clean it.
it runs way faster now, even!

various observations of the city, from a country mouse:
- there are no places to just walk into and be surrounded by nature in. you have to go to man-made parks. i miss a lot of greenery.
- most people are rude. i'll get used to it. maybe this is just what "normal" means.
- no hangout cafés & such.
