Mine is a selfie that I took on the way to @qedcon.org, a conference that I regularly attended for 15 years. The first time I went I wore my bowler since I was wearing it in my Twitter avatar at the time and I thought it might help people recognise me. Over the years it developed into a tradition.

I'm repping NSF in a huge city in a country famed for its vibrant culture and spicy food. A country that boasted thousands of years of civilization before being taken over by Europeans. A country that has long punched under its weight in cycling. One difference to where you are: Isaac del Toro.

I don't condone assassination, but this is a delusional thing to say after you've just had the clearest demonstration possible that he wasn't universally loved.

I don't own a car and never have, but the Lamborghini Countach mod for Cyberpunk awakens the little boy/teenager in me. I always preferred them to Porsches, and if the game can have a 911, it can have a Countach.

So, yeah... I made a new Fem V with every intention of romancing River, but... Judy is there. It's like Liara in ME all over again. Dudes don't stand a chance.

I got a cycling cup that's not by @snyderceramics.bsky.social ! My wife's friend works for Monex and she gave me this lovely little Ar Monex (Isaac del Toro's old team that gives opportunities to young Mexican riders) cup. Don't worry, Stacy, I still use my Giro 2024 mug every day!

This is the kind of corporate tat I can get behind. The team is giving young Mexicans the opportunity to come to Europe and have a chance at making a career in bike racing. Isaac del Toro is their biggest success so far but I have a feeling there will be more. #cycling #procycling

For me it was Laser Squad, the predecessor to the X-com series. I loved that it was about strategy not reflexes. RPGs came a bit later.

I've been playing since before XCom was a thing. Laser Squad on the ZX Spectrum in the 80s might be the first game I got truly addicted to. It was by Julian Gollop, the designer of the 90s X-Com games and basically has the same combat but without the tech and base building aspects.

@nedboulting.bsky.social My uncle and aunt live in Lille and they took us to La Piscine back in 2011 so I guess it must have been renovated before 2018! Really cool place for a team presentation!
