Make democracy work for the people:

✅ Ban stock trading for Members of Congress

✅ Ironclad ethics laws for the Supreme Court

✅ Stronger enforcement and penalties for breaking anti corruption laws

✅ Get dark money out of elections

✅ Protect access to voting

✅ End the gerrymandering wars

Possibly the main reason why the people ignoring Trump's depravity are as dangerous as the ones excusing or actively supporting is that he wil clearly start a war to avoid scrutiny of anything from ICE to Epstein if he thinks he will get away with it.

The 15 richest people in America saw their collective wealth jump nearly $1 trillion during Trump's year back in office.

Many of them were standing alongside Trump at his inauguration one year ago today.

How are you doing?

The liars, of course, have all moved on to new cons & deceptions. The fishing industry can't. A vaguely honest media would be holding Farage & the rest to account for this instead of promoting a meaningless petition...

Great to see the Foreign Secretary begin his campaign against Kleptocrats and dirty money. Next on the agenda should be stopping opaque trusts hiding property ownership, opening up company registers of the UK's offshore secrecy havens and clamping down on enablers. www.linkedin.com/posts/davidl...

When the @financialtimes.com is calling for an end to the secrecy that enables dirty money and all the utterly awful things in the world it contributes to, you know something important is shifting.
Cracking oped from @financialtimes.com editorial board, calling for public registers of beneficial ownership to end 'The scourge of corporate secrecy' (and citing @taxjusticenet.bsky.social, thank you kindly) www.ft.com/content/0bb3...

Follow the big dirty money
The other exploding area of dark money in politics is the crypto lobby.

They have dumped insane sums in elections in both parties (Dem primaries + GOP general elections).

It’s pretty bad
It's called cryptocurrency, but new FDIC data shows that most Americans don't use it as currency—they mainly hold on to it for price gains, not for transfers or purchases.
