Annual SH games, never wouldve imagined it lol I also really like the idea of a different studio each time - the series's work best imo when they're focussing on new, original stories each time, & different developers = different perspectives. Like an anthology show with different directors per ep

I have similar thoughts about the other GOW, being Gears, & how instead of picking up from Gears 5's interesting plot threads they're just... going right back to Marcus, to Dom, to locust. Gonna be a looooong wait to see the Kait plotline get wrapped up 😩

Pretty much. & I'm not opposed to remakes in general by any stretch--Resident Evil has been fucking incredible in that regard--but GOW is a franchise that is so ripe with potential that making their Next Big Thing a trip back to what we've already seen just feels like a bit of a waste.
